I should have listened to her. The kid is smart. She knows my tendencies better than I apparently do. Nonetheless, coffee was spilt on my white shirt ahead of a full day. While taking a Tide-To-Go pen to it, I was thinking ahead to my day's schedule. Who am I going to get to work with today that will "get" to see my coffee-stained shirt. As I try to convince myself that this spill makes me look more relatable and humorous rather than sloppy and careless, I smile.

Why? Today is a day full of women around a table with our bi-weekly Elite Women Masterminds. These groups of women come to the table with no judgement, an eagerness to learn from one another and a desire to show love and grace. If they even notice the fact that I spilled, they'll laugh right alongside with me. They're working hard to not think negatively in their day-to-day life, to lift other women in a world where that's not always the case and to develop their leadership skills even more.

Surround yourself with people who don't even notice your spills and messes, whether that's an obvious coffee spill or something a bit more . Fill your life with those who see your true heart and encourage you in life. Those that when you leave the room, you know they've got your back. You deserve to have those people! Find them, and invest in to that relationship with them. Heck, maybe you can even send them money for a coffee today.

And yes, I'm going to smell like my new International Delight Bridgerton Berries & Creme coffee creamer today. So there's that. It's yummy but like, not yummy enough that I wanted to smell it all day. 😂
