You Might See Jurassic Park Little Boys Underwear... I see a beautiful season of life.

Out of the corner of my eye this week, I caught this view in the middle console of our vehicle. Not only did it bring a smile to my face, but man, did it encourage me to reflect on the season of life we're in.  

 With kids now age seven and five, we are out of the diaper stage and into character underwear. We still use baby wipes in the car like they're going out of style. I drink at least one cup of coffee each day, sometimes hot, sometimes cold- depending on when I pour that cup in relation to when the kids finally decide what they want for breakfast. And if I remember to put a lip color on, you'll see a colorfully-stained water straw.  

Wow, what a beautiful season we're in. I won't always get to see Jurassic Park underwear around the house (or in my car) or wonder if my coffee will be hot when I take a sip. Although these could have been points of frustration for me, they weren't. They were sweet reminders that our littles want to spend as much time as possible with us right now. I know this won't last forever so for now, I'll soak it all in.  

 And if you're wondering how the underwear got there- the kids spent the most amazing summer days with my sister and her family. Lots of water/dirt play and changes of clothes. So, when she gave those back to me, she so kindly had cleaned them as well.
